The National Liberal Club is a club based in London with a rich heritage. I worked with them and another member of our design team to create a new modernised design for their biannual magazine. They have a particularly broad membership demographic and are aiming to extend it further. The new design therefore had to appeal to a diverse demographic. We utilised a simpler, more refined colour scheme than originally used and created a cohesive style to be used throughout the publication.
I created the cover design and collaborated on the designs for the inner pages. I also managed the production of the magazine, liasing with the client to ensure content was delivered on time, and with the printers including preparation of the artwork.
This publication is particularly challenging in terms of content. They have a preference for large amounts of text and very limited access to high quality imagery. We have worked with them to gradually reduce the quantity of copy and add stock imagery where possible thoughout the magazine.
